Excel paving started in 1991 as a paving company , It was founded by Tony Freeman, Former Builder who while on holiday, came across a team of men laying block paving, He was really amazed by the end result, At the time block paving was relatively new and he notice they could be a market for a good quality local paving company, So Excel Paving was created, At first Tony done everything , from the digging out , putting in the hardcore , laying the sand and finally putting the blocks down, The business was growing fastly and he couldn’t keep up with demand, so he decided to hire more people. today he has a team of 5 hard working men.

Excel is well known in west midlands area of being one of best quality local paving companies , the recession came and that did have impact on the company, but it is still going strong, Tony decided it was time to diversify and enter into other home Improvements markets , including House extensions , UPVC windows and doors and also Roof trim products and this is when Excel Home Improvements was formed.
Here we are today, we are now leading company in Birmingham for Paving and Home Improvements.
